Access to Resilience

The programme aims to enable NACN to provide capacity building and community
development support to rural community groups. This support will be tailored to
meet the needs of individual groups and will include training workshops, mentoring

support and a small grant on completion of the project.
The Access to Resilience programme has been funded for 3 years by Dormant
Assets NI and is delivered by The National Lottery Community Fund.

Eighteen groups across the Northern Area will be supported through this funding.
Topics covered by the training include governance, finance, project management,
conflict management and risk assessment training.

There are also opportunities for
individuals to gain qualifications in First Aid, Safeguarding, Health and Safety and
Food Hygiene.
